Nicefer Syrup

Ferrous Ascorbate, Folic acid, Methylcobalamin Suspension

Introduction

Iron is a nutrient that’s essential to child’s growth and development. Too little iron can impair your child’s ability to function well. However, most signs and symptoms of iron deficiency in children don’t appear until iron deficiency anaemia occurs. Iron is an essential element for almost all living organisms as it participates in a wide variety of metabolic processes, including oxygen transport, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) synthesis, and electron transport. While all human cells contain iron, it is mostly found in red blood cells (RBCs). Iron is needed for your body to produce haemoglobin, which helps the RBCs carry oxygen throughout the body. Iron helps to preserve many vital functions in the body, including general energy and focus, gastrointestinal processes, the immune system, and the regulation of body temperature. When you lose blood, you lose iron. The common causes of iron deficiency anemia are deficiency in diet, chronic infections or children with overweight or obese. The sign and symptoms of iron deficiency anemia is fatigue, slowed growth and development, poor appetite, frequent infections and pale skin.

  • Ferrous Ascorbate
  • Folic Acid

Key benefits

Ferrous Ascorbate

Ferrous ascorbate has a quick response as improvement in Haemoglobin can be seen as early as 15 days after the initiation of supplementation. The evident good efficacy and excellent safety and tolerability of ferrous ascorbate can be explained by advantages of the chemical state including a better bioavailability and utilization of iron. It also offers significantly higher rise in haemoglobin levels in comparison to other ferrous salts.

Folic Acid

Folic acid helps to make healthy new red blood cells so that anaemic symptoms such as fatigue, weakness and a pale complexion is prevented. It is important for the synthesis and repair of DNA and other genetic material, and it is necessary for cells to divide.
