Bornfolate® Capsules

L - Methyl Folate calcium, Cyanocobalamin, Pyridoxal 5 phosphate, DHA with Vitamin D3 Capsules

Introduction

Folate and its cousin folic acid are vital for developing a healthy baby because it prevents neural tube defects. Since the neural tube develops within the first 28 days of pregnancy, it is recommended all women of childbearing years consume folate. Folate prevents certain heart abnormalities, cleft palate and cleft lip. It also lowers the risk of developing anaemia, miscarriage, preterm delivery and low birth weight. There’s no doubt that folate is an important vitamin, especially in pregnancy and if you’re trying to conceive.

Key Ingredients

  • L-Methyl Folate Calcium
  • Cyanocobalamin
  • Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate
  • DHA
  • Vitamin D3

L- Methyl folate

L- Methyl folate helps to make healthy new red blood cells so that anaemic symptoms such as fatigue, weakness and a pale complexion are prevented. It is important for the synthesis and repair of DNA and other genetic material, and it is necessary for cells to divide.

Cyanocobalamin

Cyanocobalamin  Vitamin B12) plays a vital role in helping your body produce red blood cells. Healthy red blood cells are small and round, whereas they become larger and typically oval in cases of vitamin B12 deficiency. Due to this larger and irregular shape, the red blood cells are unable to move from the bone marrow into the bloodstream at an appropriate rate, causing megaloblastic anaemia. When you’re anaemic, your body doesn’t have enough red blood cells to transport oxygen to your vital organs. This can cause symptoms like fatigue and weakness.

Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate

Pyridoxal 5-phosphate is a coenzyme involved in protein synthesis, has multiple functions, and is essential for normal brain development and for keeping the nervous system and immune systems healthy. It is a water-soluble vitamin involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters.

DHA

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is essential for the growth and functional development of the brain in a foetus. DHA is also required for the maintenance of normal brain function in adults. The inclusion of plentiful DHA in the diet improves learning ability, whereas deficiencies of DHA are associated with deficits in learning. DHA is taken up by the brain in preference to other fatty acids. DHA deficiencies are associated with foetal alcohol syndrome, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, cystic fibrosis, phenylketonuria, unipolar depression, aggressive hostility, and adrenoleukodystrophy.

Vitamin D3:

It helps in maintaining proper levels of calcium and phosphorus body. It supports immune health and decreases the chances of getting heart disease.
