Nicefer Tablet
Ferrous Ascorbate, Folic Acid, Vitamin B6, Zinc, Mecobalamin with Amino Acids Tablets
Introduction
Iron is an essential element for almost all living organisms as it participates in a wide variety of metabolic processes, including oxygen transport, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) synthesis, and electron transport. While all human cells contain iron, it is mostly found in red blood cells (RBCs). Iron is needed for your body to produce haemoglobin, which helps the RBCs carry oxygen throughout the body. Iron helps to preserve many vital functions in the body, including general energy and focus, gastrointestinal processes, the immune system, and the regulation of body temperature. When you lose blood, you lose iron. Blood loss can happen in many ways like bleeding in your gastrointestinal tract (GI tract) from inflammatory bowel disease, ulcer, or other GI disorders, Traumatic injuries or surgery, and Regular use of medicines such as aspirin or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) that can lead to GI tract bleeding & Urinary tract bleeding.
Key Ingredients
- Ferrous Ascorbate
- Folic Acid
- Vitamin B6
- Methylcobalamin
- Zinc
- L-Glycine
- L-Histidine
- L-Lysine
Key benefits
Ferrous Ascorbate
Ferrous ascorbate has a quick response as improvement in Haemoglobin can be seen as early as 15 days after the initiation of supplementation. The evident good efficacy and excellent safety and tolerability of ferrous ascorbate can be explained by advantages of the chemical state including a better bioavailability and utilization of iron. It also offers significantly higher rise in haemoglobin levels in comparison to other ferrous salts.
Folic Acid
Folic acid helps to make healthy new red blood cells so that anaemic symptoms such as fatigue, weakness and a pale complexion are prevented. It is important for the synthesis and repair of DNA and other genetic material, and it is necessary for cells to divide.
Vitamin B6
Vitamin B6 is beneficial in preventing and treating Anaemia because of its part in the formation of haemoglobin. A molecule called haemoglobin transports oxygen to the cells. Cells don’t receive enough oxygen when their haemoglobin level is low.
Methylcobalamin
Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12) plays a vital role in helping your body produce red blood cells. Healthy red blood cells are small and round, whereas they become larger and typically oval in cases of vitamin B12 deficiency. Due to this larger and irregular shape, the red blood cells are unable to move from the bone marrow into the bloodstream at an appropriate rate, causing megaloblastic anemia. When you’re anaemic, your body doesn’t have enough red blood cells to transport oxygen to your vital organs. This can cause symptoms like fatigue and weakness.
Zinc
Iron and zinc are essential micronutrients for human growth, development, and maintenance of the immune system. The combined Ferrous Ascorbate-Zinc supplementation helps in improving iron status effectively.
L-Glycine
Glycine is an amino acid with a number of important functions in the body. Glycine acts as a precursor to various biomolecules (e.g., creatine, heme), among other roles. Iron will work in tandem with Glycine to form haem thereby helping to increase haemoglobin production.
HEME SYNTHESIS
L-Lysine
It is a crucial component of proteins that play a role in helping body tissue grow and recover from damage. It also helps the body to absorb calcium, iron, and zinc. L-Lysine supplementation in combination with iron for a significant increase in haemoglobin levels. It also helps in the formation of Globin.
L-Histidine
L-Histidine is a nutritionally essential amino acid that is also a precursor for several hormones (e.g., thyrotropin-releasing hormone), and critical metabolites affecting renal function, neurotransmission, gastric secretion, and the immune system. Histidine also has an impact on the repair and growth of tissue, making blood cells by combining Haem and Globin to form Haemoglobin.
